Developing walking football clubs across the North East Part of an outreach program from Stokesley Walking Football Club, to support and help develop other walking football clubs across Northern England. 11/03/25 Stokesley WFC went to play Parkies North East WFC in Sunderland at The Beacon Of Light, providing coaching and game strategies for them, in preparation for their upcoming tournament at St George’s Park.

Wonderful social documentary featuring photography and audio stories by Simon Thurlow in Great Ayton This week I headed back to the Great Ayton Allotments in North Yorkshire. In 2024 I started documenting what the allotments means to the community, when its future looked uncertain, after the land on which the allotments sit was designated for sale. The Allotment Association developed a fundraising group to raise £50.000, which would allow them with help of the parish council

Janette Hynes MBE has set up a walking football club and not settling for that she's now setting up an entire league Established by Janette Hynes MBE ex-professional footballer (UEFA B Coach) and Consultant Occupational Therapist. Janette combines her football coaching skills with a health and wellbeing approach, with one-to-one personal lifestyle coaching plans for each of the members. Our club was established in 2024, with the aim of creating a community of Walking Football
