A great turnout for the first North East Women’s Walking Football Trials at the Middlesbrough Sports Village. With some great local causes that have been voted for over the last year by the coop members!! The causes chosen from our local Stokesley area was Creative Frame CiC 👏👏 Crash Bang Wallop 👏👏 Stokesley Primary school 👏👏 and all receiving cheques to help continue their great work in the community. A great end of season league games at tees valley summer friendly league in Middlesbrough yesterday!! Over 120 competitors in 10 teams across the north from Hartlepool, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland!! This was the 1st year for this new league supported by WFA rules . Elliot is part of Creative Frame CIC’s volunteer-training programme. He explains on his return from America, how his confidence in volunteering at Stokesley Walking Football Club has been boosted. In turn, this enabled him to travel to America for three months to work as a coach at Camp America.
