A great turnout for the first North East Women’s Walking Football Trials at the Middlesbrough Sports Village. A tough selection for our very own North East Director and now The Walking Football Association’s regional manager, former-professional footballer, Janette Hynes MBE. With some great local causes that have been voted for over the last year by the coop members!! A great end of season league games at tees valley summer friendly league in Middlesbrough yesterday!! Over 120 competitors in 10 teams across the north from Hartlepool, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland!! This was the 1st year for this new league supported by WFA rules .
