North East Women’s Walking Football Trials

A great turnout for the first North East Women’s Walking Football Trials at the Middlesbrough Sports Village. A tough selection for our very own North East Director and now The Walking Football Association’s regional manager, former-professional footballer, Janette Hynes MBE. Over twenty-seven players took part, voted by their manager, from teams across Northumberland, Newcastle and Middlesbrough. The chosen players will head to play in a super cup later in the year. This could lead to them being chosen to represent England’s Women’s Walking Football team.
