End of Season Celebration!

A great end of season league games at tees valley summer friendly league in Middlesbrough yesterday!! Over 120 competitors in 10 teams across the north from Hartlepool, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland!! This was the 1st year for this new league supported by WFA rules . Male and female selections. Winners for men’s west Hartlepool and Kader ladies!! 

A seed from Janette Hynes MBE Director of Creative Frame CIC northeast , stokesley and north east women’s coach and manager, thought of bringing the north together under this league with Monty towers who has 10 years experience in walking football and refereeing. Amazing combination and what a very successful league it was.

Now we will grow in our second year👏👏 we dropped the age group to 30s 40s 50s 60s 70s all playing in the men’s section and 18+in the ladies to encourage the participation. It worked so well 👏 if you want to join next year we play from April -September once a month . Many other awards on the night all in the right reason to play as it’s for health and wellbeing not just to win but taking part to keep mentally and physically healthy is the ethos of the league !!
